Our Hall and Facilities The facilities of the Quaker Meeting House (a no-smoking building) are available as a community service to organisations and individuals for purposes compatible with Quaker principles, at modest charge. The hall is well decorated, warm and inviting. Regular users add interest with their displays of art and craft work. We Offer Our Quaker Meeting House complex comprises a main hall, the meeting room (upstairs), kitchen, small committee room, lobby, toilets( one accessible also with baby changing facilities) and a large garden. A popular art group The hall (35ft by 26ft) has about sixty chairs and ten tables. The well-equipped accessible kitchen adjoins it. The small committee room (9ft by 13 ft) is without catering facilities. The large walled garden can also be hired with the hall and kitchen, and the summer house is included.
The Garden There is a coin box telephone in the committee room (outgoing calls only) and a photocopier upstairs. A whiteboard is available, also a television, DVD player and a video player. An inductive loop system in installed. An accessible toilet has recently been added, as well as baby changing facilities.
The Entrance Lobby The Kitchen Piano, in main hall downstairs The ground floor of the building is on one level and without steps. There is a large notice board on which user and community events are publicised. Our charges: We hire by session as follows:
